Doctor's Profile

Dr. Magesh completed his MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai. Following which, he underwent training in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Hartlepool and obtained MRCP (UK). A career in higher specialist training in Geriatric and Internal Medicine awaited him at the Northern Deanery, University of Newcastle, UK.

During his training, he gained experience in various specialties of Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine at esteemed hospitals including James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, Royal Sunderland Hospitals in Sunderland, University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton, Royal Victoria Hospitals in Newcastle, and Darlington Memorial Hospitals in Darlington.

After successfully completing his training, Dr. Magesh was appointed as a Consultant at the University Hospital of Hartlepool, UK in 2005. He joined Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, as a Consultant in 2007 and took the initiative to establish Outpatient Geriatric Services at Westside Clinic, Anna Nagar, in the year 2010.

Dr. Magesh's journey has equipped him with valuable skills and expertise in the field of Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine and helped him garner training for his professional roles in the UK and in India.
